REEF RELIEF

Reef Relief

Did you know most sunscreens contain chemicals that can kill coral reefs? But what if sunscreen could feed coral instead of killing it?

And just like that the concept behind Reef Relief was born. Reef Relief is the world’s first sunscreen that isn’t just eco-safe or reef friendly, it tries to go beyond that by feeding coral the essential nutrients they need. We created it by working with leading marine and cosmetic technicians, to create a unique mineral sunscreen formula with a base that had passed extensive aquatic testing for marine safety. We then added a bespoke blend of FDA-approved nutrients used by coral farmers to nourish coral and increase its growth.

To promote Reef Relief we created a fully integrated campaign, as well as a whole new sunscreen classification called RPF (Reef Protection Factor) similar to SPF for our skin, RPF is an indicator that this is a sunscreen that is truly trying to protect coral.

Reef Relief is still undergoing trials and testing.

To launch the campaign and the product abroad, we've created two posters that went live in multiple sites in the UK.

We've created a social page for people to interact with our brand, get news about the product and also learn more about coral reefs and how to protect them.

The other two SPF versions will be announced soon after the official launch of Reef Relief SPF 30
